Since we started iClear, we've worked hard to keep our replacement filter prices unchanged, even as the cost of doing business in Nigeria has continued to rise.

We've put off this change for as long as we could. But with exchange rates and import costs changing so much, along with the cost of shipping filters and sending our technicians out to you, we can't continue offering the same filters and service at our old prices.

Many of our customers have been with us since our early days, and some have recommended iClear to their friends and family. We appreciate that trust, and it's one of the reasons we want to give existing customers more time before these new prices apply to them.

**When the new prices take effect:** new prices apply to new customers immediately. Existing customers can continue buying at their current prices until 31 December 2026, within the limits described below.

#### **The new prices**

Until now, every replacement filter for your purifier cost the same, whatever its type. Each filter type now has its own price, because the RO membrane costs far more than the sediment and carbon filters. Prices are per filter. All prices include professional filter replacement by an iClear technician. VAT is charged separately.

Each purifier has three filters, one of each type: sediment, carbon and RO membrane. Each price above is for replacing one filter. Every new iClear purifier still comes with all three installed.

#### **What each filter does and when to replace it**

| **Filter** | **What it does** | **Typical replacement** |
| --- | --- | --- |
| P/C Sediment filter | The first stage. Traps sand, rust and dirt so they never reach the rest of the system. | Every 6–9 months |
| RO Membrane | The second stage and the heart of the purifier. Removes dissolved salts, heavy metals and microorganisms. | Every 12–18 months |
| CTO Carbon filter | The final stage. Removes any remaining tastes and odours, so your water tastes fresh. | Every 6–9 months |

The right time for your home depends mostly on the quality of your water source (borehole, tanker or mains), as well as how much water you use and how your system is performing. Your iClear technician will confirm what your purifier needs at each visit.

#### **No price changes for existing customers until the end of the year**

If you've bought an iClear purifier from us, any filter order **paid and invoiced by 31 December 2026** is charged at your current price, up to 12 filters per purifier, in any mix of types (for example, 4 sediment, 4 carbon and 4 RO membranes). Anything above that is charged at the new price.

If you'd like to buy your next set of filters at today's price, you can do that before the end of December. You don't have to install them all at once. We can deliver your filters to you, or you can reach out when a replacement is due and we'll take care of it.

#### **Why using the right replacement filters matters**

Unbranded filters can look like a saving. They often don't fit properly, let water bypass the filter, and can damage your RO membrane, which is the most expensive part to replace. Genuine iClear filters are made for your purifier and installed by our technicians, who check the whole system at each visit.

#### **Frequently asked questions**

**Does this change the price of the purifier itself?** No. This update only affects replacement filters.

**Do I need to install all my filters now to keep my current price?** No. Pay for your filters by 31 December 2026, then have them delivered or contact us when a replacement is due.

**Is installation included?** Yes. All prices include professional filter replacement by an iClear technician. VAT is charged separately.
